Parents are Thomas Wells (1780-1834) and Abigail Swan (1789-1840). Several public family trees on Ancestry.

I am so happy to find this group.  I am searching for William Swan Wells b. 1810-1811 in New London, CT.  I am assuming that Swan was his mother's maiden name!  DNA connects mew to Gov. Thomas Welles but I have not been able to make the connection!!!  Any help would be greatly appreciated as he is my block.
